The Kitchen Cabinet

The finish and the longevity of a kitchen begins with the cabinet.  All of our kitchen cabinets are made with 18mm furniture grade board and are colour coordinated to your choice of door. So if you choose an oak door for example, this same grain will continue on both the outside and inside of the cabinet.

All of our kitchen cabinets including wall units have full height solid 18mm backs, sides and bottoms. The cabinets also have extra wide support rails on the top section producing an extremely strong backbone to your kitchen. This also makes them ideal for supporting granite and other solid worktops should this be necessary. The cabinets are of glue and dowel construction (superior both in strength and appearance to cheaper cam and dowel methods) and are delivered to you fully assembled with the drawer boxes already in place, and the doors and drawer fronts already hung. All wirework and accessories will also be installed where possible. You need only drill the holes for the handles. A fitters dream!

The drawer boxes are supplied by Blum, an industry leader.  All drawer boxes are Tandem box Blumotion and are supplied in the deluxe stainless steel finish rather than the standard metallic grey.  This drawer runner system grabs the drawer in the last 50mm and then provides a controlled and silent closing action.  

We also use twin wall full height stainless steel sides for our Blumotion pan drawers so as to maximize storage and provide a superior finish.

The doors hinges are also supplied by Blum.  Again with Blumotion they provide the same quality soft-closing action as the drawers.  The type used are integrated into the hinge avoiding the need for unsightly pistons in the front of the cabinet often seen elsewhere.
